Chancellor's Student Success Scholarship

The Chancellor’s Student Success Scholarship is a scholarship/grant program that supports students who exhibit exceptional financial need and/or extraordinary academic excellence and who do not receive scholarships or financial aid sufficient to continue their education at the University of Arkansas. This program also supports students who experience a mid-semester emergency that without receiving additional financial resources, may prevent the student from continuing enrollment for that semester and/or the following semester.
    Eligibility Requirements:
    • US citizens and financial aid eligible noncitizens (https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/eligibility) must have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Office of Financial Aid and must have completed all FAFSA verification requirements.
    • The applicant should have exhausted all other financial resources available, including loans.
    • Applicants must be in good academic standing at the time of application and at the time of the award. See the Academic Standing Policy for additional information.
    • Applicants must complete all sections of this application, attach documentation supporting their exceptional financial need or mid-semester emergency situation, and explain their financial plan for future semesters (if applicant is not graduating at end of the award semester).  "Exceptional financial need," means that the student's financial situation is such that without assistance from this program, the student will be unable to continue enrollment at the University of Arkansas. Students do not need to attach documentation of the student's account balance or federal financial aid information.
    • Students must be enrolled in the semester for which they receive funding under this scholarship program.
    • Scholarships awarded through this program conform to established cost of attendance procedures and will be applied to any outstanding balances on the student account.
    • Receipt of a Chancellor's Student Success Scholarship may require participation in the Academic Enrichment Program (AEP), which provides academic and social support through the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education.
